About the Role
As a Production Operator – Tumbler, you will operate production equipment used in the preparation of raw food materials, including grinders and tumblers. You will help ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining production efficiency and complying with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
The role requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, physical stamina, and the ability to work in cold manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating grinders, tumblers, and related production equipment.
- Setting up and disassembling grinding equipment.
- Opening and inspecting raw materials for foreign objects.
- Grinding raw materials to required specifications and weight.
- Monitoring product fat percentages and making adjustments when required.
- Labeling and transporting processed materials for further production.
- Monitoring product quality throughout production.
- Maintaining accurate production records.
- Following daily startup and shutdown procedures.
- Supporting housekeeping and sanitation standards.
- Following food safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Working safely while meeting production targets.
