Key Responsibilities
As an Appointment Setter, you will:
- Conduct cold and warm calls to prospective schools across Australia and New Zealand.
- Speak with Heads of Department, Deputy Principals, and other education decision-makers.
- Schedule online product demonstrations for the SmartLab sales team.
- Accurately record call activity using the Sailstrail mobile app.
- Meet appointment booking KPIs during the trial period and ongoing employment.
- Maintain professional communication with prospective clients.
Salary and Commission
Applicants can choose between two payment options:
Contractor (ABN)
- $30 per hour
- $15 commission for every booked meeting that attends
Casual Employee
- $31.19 per hour
- $9.89 commission for every booked meeting that attends
- 12% Superannuation
Training and Trial Period
Successful applicants will receive:
- A 45-minute training session.
- A paid 10-hour trial period.
- Opportunity for ongoing work until December 2026 upon meeting performance targets.
During the trial, candidates are expected to book at least three qualified meetings within 10 hours.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants should have:
- Previous appointment setting, cold calling, or call centre experience (preferred).
- A computer or laptop with reliable internet access.
- A personal phone plan, preferably with unlimited calls to Australia and New Zealand.
- A mobile phone capable of using the Sailstrail app.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently from home.
