Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Cleaning kitchen floors, drains, sinks, walls, shelves, and workstations.
- Cleaning walk-in coolers, freezers, and food preparation areas.
- Removing stains and labels from kitchen containers.
- Cleaning cutting boards, pizza dough trays, and bus trays.
- Taking out garbage and maintaining clean waste bins.
- Organizing and storing food and cleaning supplies.
- Assisting front-of-house staff when necessary.
- Ensuring kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Following all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A valid Food Handler Card.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety practices.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
