Work Schedule
Applicants may work one or more of the following market days:
- Tuesdays: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Ashland Armory)
- Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Medford Hawthorne Park)
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Ashland Oak Street
- Grants Pass Downtown
Key Responsibilities
As a Farmers’ Market Helper, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with setting up and packing down the market stall
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Processing purchases and handling cash transactions
- Performing quick mental calculations during busy sales periods
- Lifting and moving produce, equipment, and supplies
- Representing Barking Moon Farm positively within the community
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong people skills and a friendly personality
