About the Role
As a Casual Crèche Attendant, you will be responsible for supervising, caring for, and nurturing children in VenuesWest’s childcare facilities. This is a hands-on childcare position requiring strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
The crèche caters to children aged 8 weeks to 5 years, while the school holiday child-minding program serves children aged 6 to 12 years.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform a variety of childcare duties, including:
- Supervising children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Assisting with feeding and meal supervision
- Supporting toileting and personal care needs
- Organizing and implementing indoor and outdoor activities
- Encouraging positive social interaction and learning experiences
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians
- Maintaining accurate records and reports when required
- Supporting the childcare team during busy periods

- School Age Education and Care qualification
- Outside School Hours Care qualification
- Related tertiary childcare qualifications
Experience Requirements
Candidates with previous experience working in:

Work Schedule
The successful candidates should be flexible and available to work:
- Monday to Friday
